Historic Mill Studio is approximately 70 miles east of Atlanta, 70 miles west of Augusta, and 30 miles south of Athens. 40 miles north of Milledgeville, and 60 miles north east of Macon
TO GREENSBORO, GA.:
From Atlanta or Augusta: Take I-20 Exit #130, follow signs north on Route 44 about 3 miles to Greensboro. (Route 44 turns into Main Street). Follow directions below to the studio.
From Athens: Take 15 south to Greensboro. Turn Left on West Broad. Turn left onto Northwest Street. It is before the traffic light in town. Go past train depot and under railroad overpass. My studio is first brick bldg on the left.
From Milledgeville: Go north on US441 12.3 mi. Turn right on Rea Ridge Rd SE 8miles. Turn right on Gad 16 Sparta Hwy/GA-16. 0.3 miles. Turn left on Old Phoenix Rd. 5.5 miles. Turn right at Gad 44. (This turns into Main Street) 13 miles. Follow directions below to the studio.
From Macon: Starting out going Northeast on US-41 BR/Spring St/Ga-19. Continue to follow GA-19 for .6 mi. Stay straight to go onto North Ave/US-129/Ga-11/GA-49. Continue to follow US-129N. For 13.3 mi. Turn Left onto US-129/GA-44. Continue to follow US-129 for 23 miles. US-129 becomes US129BR/US-441/Ga-24 Br/Ga44 2.2 mi. Turn Right onto Ga-16/Ga-44/E Sumter St. continue to follow GA-16 for 1.2 miles Turn left onto Ga-44/Greenboro Rd. Continue to follow GA-44 into Greensboro and follow directions below to studio.
From McDonough: Take Hwy 81 East 20.4 mi. Turn right at CR 653/Gal 142/ Covington bypass 7 miles. Take Right onto I 20 going East 30.6 miles. Exit 130 Greensboro/Lake 0conee. Left Route 44/Main Street 3miles. Follow directions to studio below
Once you are in town: Turn left at traffic light which is Broad Street. Take 1st right onto North West Street (the street sign is hard to see. It is carved in a granite post on the corner. Pass train depot/Feed and Seed Store. Go under railroad overpass. 1st Brick Bldg. on the left. Park in lot to right of bldg.
